Propebela abernethyi (Dell, 1956) Antiguraleus abernethyi is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Mangeliidae.
[1] Antiguraleus abernethyi has a shell size that typically reaches around 5-7 mm in height and 2.4 mm in width.
Its morphology and size are consistent with other species in its family, which are adapted for life in deeper marine habitats.
It is generally considered native and restricted to these environments around New Zealand’s island regions, where it contributes to the biodiversity of marine mollusks.
[2] This species occurs off Ninety Mile Beach, North Island, New Zealand
