However Chakrabarty began his journey in the entertainment world at a young age, working as a child actor Satyajiter Priyo Golpo on DD Bangla in 2000.

Arjun made his silver screen debut with the film Bapi Bari Jaa, a romantic-comedy directed by Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha that released in December 2012.
