[2] He made his directorial debut with the Malayalam feature film Luca (2019)[3] starring Tovino Thomas and Ahaana Krishna.
He has also produced, scripted, photographed and directed an experimental[4] Tamil feature film titled Alaiyin Thisai.
[5] His second Malayalam feature film Mindiyum Paranjum[6][7][8] produced by Salim Ahamed[9] has Unni Mukundan[10] and Aparna Balamurali in the lead.
Arun is married to Minu Sadasivan and now settled at Kochi, Kerala.
During the initial days of his career, he has worked as the program officer of National Folklore Support Centre.
