Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya is a state university in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India.

[2] The university is named after Hindi poet and former Prime minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

[4] The foundation stone for a 50 acres (0.20 km2) campus in Mungalia Kot was laid in 2013.

In 2015 they asked the Medical Council of India (MCI) to allow students to write MBBS course papers in Hindi.

[2] In 2016 they opened the first engineering course in India to be taught in the Hindi language,[4] although in 2017 the university was considering discontinuing the programme due to lack of students and infrastructure.
