Ayagawa (綾川町, Ayagawa-chō) is a town located in Ayauta District, Kagawa Prefecture, Japan.
Ayagawa is located almost in the center of Kagawa Prefecture, and is bordered by the Sanuki Mountains to the south.
With the creation of the modern municipalities system on February 15, 1890, the area was divided into villages within Ayauta District, Kagawa.
Ayagawa has a mayor-council form of government with a directly elected mayor and a unicameral town council of 16 members.
In terms of national politics, the town is part of Kagawa 2nd district of the lower house of the Diet of Japan.
