BC Clark Jewelers

BC Clark is most well-known for its iconic "Anniversary Sale" jingle, which was originally written and produced in 1956 at a cost of $300.

[2] The jingle is played in Television, Radio and Internet advertisements for the retailer's five-week advertising campaign during the holiday shopping season, always starting during the evening on Thanksgiving Day, ending during evening on Christmas Day, what had originally started out as a simple advertisement jingle has grown to became something much more than that, over the years since it first hit the airwaves across Oklahoma in 1956, the Jingle has evolved over time into Oklahoma’s very own Christmas carol and an icon with a life all its own.

It was quickly replaced with the old familiar iconic one within hours, after a barrage of complaints from Oklahomans with phones ringing off the hook at the BC Clark offices.

On December 24, 2016, the Jingle gained even more national attention when it was a feature story on NBC Nightly News.

The story included another famous Oklahoma native – country music superstar, and star of NBC’s The Voice, Blake Shelton who sang a few lines of it.
