Banca Agricola Mantovana S.p.A. (BAM) was an Italian bank based in Mantua, Lombardy.
In 1998, the bank formed a joint venture agreement with Unipol in Quadrifoglio Vita, an insurance company that operated in BAM's network.
[3] BAM also acquired a minority ownership in Finsoe, the intermediate parent company of Unipol.
Circa 1999–2000 the bank was changed from a cooperative society (S.C.) to a limited company (società per Azioni).
[7][8] Sanpaolo IMI was a minority shareholders of BAM for 8.49% as at 31 December 2001, which was sold to Banca MPS for €206 million.
