Baratunde Rafiq Thurston (/ˌbærəˈtuːndeɪ/; born September 11, 1977) is an American writer, comedian, and commentator.

Thurston was educated at the Sidwell Friends School and Harvard University where he graduated with a degree in Philosophy.
