Basivka

[1] The village covers an area of 2,39 km2 at an altitude of 305 metres (1,000 ft) above sea level.

[2] The village is located at a distance 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) from the regional center Lviv to the southwest of Lviv ring road, 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from the district center Pustomyty, and 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) from the village Obroshyne.

[3] Then the Polish King Władysław II Jagiełło donated to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lviv 700 hectares of land near the village of Obroshyne.

Until 18 July 2020, Basivka belonged to Pustomyty Raion.

The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Lviv Oblast to seven.
