Beadle Hall

It is built out of Dell Rapids Granite, LaCrosse white-cut stone, and Milwaukee pressed brick.

[3] Beadle Hall is the oldest building in South Dakota that is still used for its original purpose.

During President Abraham Lincoln's second inauguration, Beadle was in command of the military guard in Washington, DC.

[4] The building was originally called West Wing, but was renamed to Beadle Hall in 1970.

In 1952, the building received major remodeling which made it a fire resistant structure.
