Beaverdam Creek is a stream in Butler and Ripley counties in the Ozarks of southern Missouri.
The stream headwaters arise in northeastern Ripley County at the confluence of North Prong and West Prong creeks at 36°45′55″N 90°39′05″W / 36.76528°N 90.65139°W / 36.76528; -90.65139 and an elevation of about 435 feet.
[2][3] The stream meanders to the southeast for about five miles to its confluence with the Little Black River at 36°41′32″N 90°34′14″W / 36.69222°N 90.57056°W / 36.69222; -90.57056 and an elevation of 315 feet.
[4] Poplar Bluff lies about nine miles east-northeast of the confluence.
[5] Beaverdam Creek was so named on account of beaver dams on its course.
