There were 747 households, out of which 26.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.6% were married couples living together, 8.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.8% were non-families.

A small portion of the Pennsylvania State Game Lands Number 60 is located along the eastern border of the township north of Beccaria.
