Bede Liu (Chinese: 刘必治; pinyin: Liú Bìzhì; born 1934) is a Taiwanese-American engineer.
He received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at National Taiwan University.
[5] Liu has received the IEEE Fourier Award for Signal Processing.
[6][7] He was elected a member of the National Academy of Engineering in 2002 for contributions to the analysis and implementation of digital signal processing algorithms.
