Bemiss is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in northern Lowndes County, Georgia, United States.
It is on Georgia State Route 125, 8 miles (13 km) north of the center of Valdosta, the county seat.
Among the population in 2020, its racial and ethnic makeup was 54.09% non-Hispanic white, 28.21% African American, 0.39% Native American, 2.80% Asian alone, 0.13% Pacific Islander American, 0.69% some other race, 5.66% multiracial, and 8.02% Hispanic or Latino of any race.
