Benedict is a city in Wilson County, Kansas, United States,[1] along the Verdigris River.
[4] Benedict was laid out at the junction of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway and the Missouri Pacific Railroad.

[8] The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters.
