Benedicta Lasi (born 15 August 1987) is a Ghanaian lawyer, investment consultant, and politician.
She began her professional career in business development and law, later co-founding Edfields Attorneys in Ghana.
Lasi has played various roles within the NDC, including serving in youth and election-related positions.
[1][4][3] In 2022, Lasi was elected as the first African woman and the youngest person to serve as the Secretary General of the Socialist International.
As a spokesperson for the NDC, she has been vocal about the inclusion of private schools in Ghana's Free SHS programme.
