Bertya mollissima is a shrub[1] in the family Euphorbiaceae, endemic to New South Wales.
[2][3] It is a shrub growing from 1 m to 3 m tall, and the entire plant is covered with soft, medium to dense mat[1] of golden stellate hairs.
[5][3] The leaves are oblong, 5–20 mm long, 2–5 mm wide, with flat to recurved margins, with a dark green upper surface, and a paler lower surface.
[1] The male flowers have five small woolly bracts, with the two outer ones narrower than the inner ones.
Female flowers have two or four bracts, with the perianth segments united below the middle forming a cup.
