Bigarello (Mantovano: Bigarel) is a former comune (municipality) in the Province of Mantua in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 140 kilometres (87 mi) east of Milan and about 8 kilometres (5 mi) east of Mantua.

As of 31 December 2004[update], it had a population of 1,850 and an area of 27.0 square kilometres (10.4 sq mi).

[3] In January 2019 Bigarello merged with San Giorgio to form the comune of San Giorgio Bigarello.

Bigarello borders the following municipalities: Castel d'Ario, Castelbelforte, Roncoferraro, San Giorgio di Mantova, Sorgà.
