Blue Grass is a city in Muscatine and Scott counties in the U.S. state of Iowa.
[2][3] Most of Blue Grass is part of the Davenport–Moline–Rock Island, IA-IL Metropolitan Statistical Area, but the Muscatine County portion of the city is considered part of the Muscatine Micropolitan Statistical Area.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.89 square miles (7.49 km2), all land.

As of the census[7] of 2010, there were 1,452 people, 561 households, and 426 families living in the city.
20.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
As of the census[8] of 2000, there were 1,169 people, 443 households, and 348 families living in the city.
16.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
Residents of the city are zoned to the Davenport Community School District.
