Robert Hamm (born April 24, 1959) is an American former professional football defensive end who played four seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Houston Oilers, Kansas City Chiefs and Indianapolis Colts.
[1] He attended Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California.
[2] He played in all 16 games, starting 12 after replacing Malcolm Taylor as the starter, for the Oilers during his rookie year in 1983, recording three sacks.
[2] He was activated on September 28 and started the final 12 games of the 1984 season, totaling two sacks and one fumble recovery.
[2][5] Hamm played in 14 games, starting five, for the Chiefs during the 1985 season and made one sack before being placed on injured reserve on December 11, 1985.
