Boon pronounced as Bonn (also spelled: Bown or Bawn) is a town in the northwestern Awdal region of Somaliland.

Founded as a home by Osman Wabbery, the town proudly hosts its own universities, hospitals, and a thorough townwide water system.
Adding to the cultural richness are the Reer Dudub, Osmangoulo subclans of the Jibril Yoonis and the Hebjire, Aliganoun, Musafin, and Hasansa'ad subclans of the Habar 'Affan, forming a mosaic of tribes within the greater Gadabuursi subclan of the Dir clan family.
