Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve

It is open daily, except for major holidays, April–June, and closed on Tuesdays July–March; an admission fee is charged to nonmembers.

Today, the preserve contains over 700 of the 2,000 plant species native to Pennsylvania and the Delaware Valley, growing in a naturalistic setting of woodlands, meadows, ponds and Pidcock Creek, with about 4.5 miles of walking trails.

Just five miles south of the preserve, Washington and his men crossed the Delaware River to fight and win the Battle of Trenton in 1776.

The average wettest month is July which corresponds with the annual peak in thunderstorm activity.
