Box Canyon-Amistad was a census-designated place (CDP) in Val Verde County, Texas, United States.

For the 2010 census, the area was delineated as two separate CDPs, Amistad and Box Canyon.

[2] According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP had a total area of 4.0 square miles (10.4 km2), all of it land.

46.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 18.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

There were no families and 15.5% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and none of those over 64.
