Brandon Sproat

Brandon Carl Sproat (born September 17, 2000) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the New York Mets organization.

[1][2] The Texas Rangers drafted Sproat out of Pace High School in the 7th round of the 2019 Major League Baseball draft.

Despite rumors he would sign to an over slot deal, Sproat honored his college commitment and attended the University of Florida.

[5][6] Sproat was drafted by the New York Mets in the 3rd round of the 2022 Major League Baseball draft, but did not sign and returned to Florida.

[9] On July 2, 2024, he was announced to be on the roster for the 2024 All-Star Futures Game.
