Brian Kelley (January 8, 1943 – September 19, 2011) was an American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) counterintelligence officer.
Having been suspended during the investigation, Kelley was reinstated by the CIA and later received the Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal for his service.
He earned degrees in political science from Saint Michael's College and East Asian studies from Florida State University.
After graduating from college he joined the United States Air Force and worked in its Office of Special Investigations.
He retired from the CIA in 2007 and worked for the private contractor Abraxas Corporation[3] and continued to teach counterintelligence.
