Bruce Craig Scott AM (born 20 October 1943) is an Australian former politician.

Scott was born in Roma, Queensland, and was educated at the Anglican Church Grammar School in Brisbane.

[4] Following the resignation of Harry Jenkins Jr. as Speaker of the House on 24 November 2011, Scott was nominated for the position of Deputy Speaker of the House by Liberal MP Christopher Pyne.

Scott accepted the nomination and a ballot took place, installing Anna Burke as the Deputy Speaker of the House.

Following the resignation of Peter Slipper as Speaker on 9 October 2012, Burke was elected as his replacement.
