Datura vulcanicola A.S.Barclay Brugmansia vulcanicola, ( = "the volcanic-soil-favouring angel's trumpet" ) is a shrub or small tree belonging to the genus Brugmansia of tribe Datureae in subfamily Solanoideae of the nightshade family, Solanaceae.
Brugmansia vulcanicola forms a shrub or small tree reaching 4 m (13 ft) in height.
The pendent, tubular / trumpet-shaped flowers belong to the smallest of all Brugmansia at 15 to 22 cm (6 to 9 in).
[1] They are endemic to the Andes mountains of Colombia and Ecuador at elevations of 2,800 to 3,300 m (9,200 to 10,800 ft).
