Cottari Subbanna Nayudu (pronunciationⓘ; 18 April 1914 – 22 November 2002) was an Indian cricketer who played in eleven Tests from 1934 to 1952.
[1][2] Cottari Subbanna Nayudu was born on 18 April 1914[1] in Nagpur to a Telugu-speaking Kapu family.
[3][4][5] His parents were Cottari Surya Prakash Rao Nayudu and Mahalaxmi.
[10] In the 1942–43 Ranji Trophy tournament, he became the first bowler to take forty wickets in one season in India.
