Calliostoma tampaense is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Calliostomatidae.
The shell has a straight conical form, broader than Calliostoma jujubinum (Gmelin, 1791).
The color of the shell is light brown, clouded with darker, often marked with white on the periphery.
The umbilicus has a larger perforation, and is bounded by a distinctly beaded rib.
[2] This species occurs in the Gulf of Mexico off Florida at a depth between 0 m and 11 m.
