Buell Peninsula

Features include Cape Williams in the north, and Saddle Peak and Mount Kostka on the neck of the peninsula to the south.

Discovered in February 1911 when the Terra Nova of the British Antarctic Expedition, 1910–13, explored the area westward of Cape North.

Twin peaks 960 metres (3,150 ft) high with a distinct saddle between them, located 3 nautical miles (5.6 km; 3.5 mi) northwest of Mount Kostka.

Given this descriptive name by Australian National Antarctic Research Expedition (ANARE) (Thala Dan), 1962, which explored this area.

Mountain 1,210 metres (3,970 ft) high on the west side of Zykov Glacier, 3 nautical miles (5.6 km; 3.5 mi) southeast of Saddle Peak.
