Caraybamba District is one of the seventeen districts of the Aymaraes Province in Peru.
[1] One of the highest peaks of the district is Pisti at approximately 5,100 m (16,700 ft).

Quechua is the language which the majority of the population (54.06%) learnt to speak in childhood, 45.78% of the residents started speaking using the Spanish language (2007 Peru Census).
