Carbuss

The company is based in Joinville in the south of Brazil, where it operates industrial premises that cover 1,000,000 m2 (11,000,000 sq ft) of land.

[1][2] Some ten thousand résumés were received, and preference was given to employees who had been laid off by the former Busscar administration.

A separate investor group acquired the Busscar brand, equipment, projects, and industrial parks.

Although Carbuss and Busscar are different companies, they conduct technology exchanges and use similar sales structures and logistics.

After five years of inactivity, the factory began producing buses on 2 May 2018, with investments exceeding R$100 million.
