Carlos R. Imperial

Carlos "Papay" del Rosario Imperial (July 15, 1930 – April 11, 2010)[2] was a 2nd district representative of Albay in the Philippines.

Carlos Imperial finished his elementary and secondary education at Ateneo de Manila University with the degree of Bachelor of Literature in 1951.

He took law at the same university where in 1956, he successfully passed the bar examination obtaining the third highest score with a rating of 89.45%.

His political career started when he was elected as the barrio captain of Sagpon in 1963 up to the time he ran for Congress.

He ran for membership of the Interim Batasang Pambansa representing Region V under the banner of the administration party, the Kilusang Bagong Lipunan, and won.
