She is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, American Physical Society, Optica, and SPIE.
[4][5] At Colorado State Menoni investigated the physics of semiconductors and optically active materials.
[8] Menoni studied multi-layer oxide materials that can act as anti-reflective coatings for high power lasers.
[10] Menoni was promoted to University Distinguished Professor in 2014, and elected President of the IEEE Photonics Society in 2020.
[11] Menoni met her husband, laser physicist Jorge J. Rocca [de], as an undergraduate student at the National University of Rosario.
