Carolina Armenteros is an intellectual historian of Europe specializing in the era of 1750–1914.
[1] Along with Richard Lebrun, she is one of the leading scholars of Joseph de Maistre.
[2] She has also published on gender theory and philosophy of religion.
[5] She is the recipient of a British Academy Research Fellowship and of several Visiting Fellowships at Wolfson College, Cambridge.
She currently directs the Center for European Studies at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic.
