Carrigaphooca Stone Circle is a stone circle and National Monument located in County Cork, Ireland.
[2][3][4] It is situated 4.4 km (2.7 mi) west of Macroom, immediately east of Carrigaphooca Castle, north of the N22, and near the confluence of the River Sullane and River Foherish.
[5] The name means "stone of the púca" (ghost or fairy).
[6] There were five stones: four standing and one inclined,[7] but now only three remain.
[8] The circle's diameter was approximately 5.5 m (18 ft).
