Kritharioti is married to Greek shipowner Nikolas Tsakos and has three children, two of which are models in her company.

Kritharioti designed the costumes of "Romeo & Juliet" and "Swan Lake" ballets for the Greek National Opera presented at the Megaron venue in Athens.
