Celine Marmion

[1] Her PhD research involved investigations into vanadium complexes and nitrogen fixation.

[2] She returned to study in 1995, and earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Kingston University.

[3] In 1997 Marmion joined Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland as a lecturer in the Department of Chemistry.

[4][5] Immunodeficient cancer patients are at risk of developing infections, which occasionally require antimicrobial prophylaxis.

[6] Her research has been supported by the Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) to create a prodrug strategy for multi-modal chemotherapeutics.
