Centre hospitalier universitaire Sainte-Justine

It is affiliated with the Université de Montréal, located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

[1] Founded in 1907 by Justine Lacoste-Beaubien and Dr Irma Levasseur,[2] the CHU Sainte-Justine is currently the largest pediatric health centre in Canada.

[3] The CHU officially became a university health centre in 1995 and has since welcomed around 2500 medical students yearly.

It is also the provincial reference centre for the detection of deafness, management of chronic pain and developmental disorders in children.

As such, these mothers are required to be transferred to other institutions on the Montreal island, such as: McGill University Health Centre (MUHC), Hôpital Maisonneuve Rosemont, Jewish General Hospital or Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal.
