Ceroxylon parvum

Ceroxylon parvum is a species of Ceroxylon native to the slopes of the Andes.

[1][2] Ceroxylon parvum is the smallest Ceroxylon species, the trunks reaching a maximum of 9 meters and 0.10-0.18 m in diameter.

[1] Ceroxylon parvum grows in the eastern slopes of the Andes in Ecuador, in rainforests and clearings at altitudes of 1370 to 1740 m.[1] A second population in southern Peru and western Bolivia was previously included in this species,[1] but is now recognised as Ceroxylon pityrophyllum.
