The chairman of the State Administration Council (Burmese: နိုင်ငံတော်စီမံအုပ်ချုပ်ရေးကောင်စီဥက္ကဋ္ဌ) is the head of Myanmar's ruling military junta, established in the 2021 coup d'état.
Min Aung Hlaing is the current holder of the office, and also serves as the prime minister of the Provisional Government.
[8] A day after the coup, Min Aung Hlaing formalized his leadership by forming the State Administration Council, in which he assumed office as the chairman.
[9] As Min Aung Hlaing concurrently held office as the Commander-in-Chief of the Myanmar Armed Forces, he has the right to exercise legislative, judicative, and executive powers.
