Channelview Independent School District is a school district in Channelview, a census-designated place in an unincorporated area of Harris County, Texas, United States.

In 2010, the school district is rated "recognized" by the Texas Education Agency.

In the spring of 2008, CISD also opened the new Kolarik Freshman campus, right next to the current high school.

[5] On May 4, 2019, Channelview ISD voters approved a $195.4 million bond package – the district's first in 10 years.

Throughout the district it covered renovations to campus' HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical Systems, Driveways and other Interior Finishes while also contributing to the district as a whole with Security systems, Technology, Buses and Land Purchases.
