Charles Joseph Alleyn (19 September 1817 – 4 April 1890) was a Quebec lawyer and political figure.
He was born in County Cork, Ireland in 1817 and studied at Clongowes Wood College.
[citation needed] In 1854, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Canada for Quebec City.
He supported the abolition of seigneurial tenure, an elected Legislative Council and separate schools.
In 1866, he resigned from politics to accept an appointment as sheriff for the district of Quebec.
