Major-General Charles Philip Fenwick CB,[1] CBE,[2] MC,[3] ED, MD (10 July 1891 – 20 March 1954) was the 14th Canadian Surgeon General.
Born in St. John's, Colony of Newfoundland, Charles Philip was educated at the University of Toronto, where he graduated with a Medical Degree in 1916.
[5] In 1917, he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel and was [appointed] the Commanding Officer of the 2nd Field Ambulance.
"[5] At the end of the war, Fenwick took up practice in Niagara Falls, Ontario from 1920 to 1923 before settling in Toronto.
Following his retirement, Fenwick became the chief of medical services for the Canadian Pacific Railway.
