Chassieu (French pronunciation: [ʃasjø]; Arpitan: Chassiô) is a commune in the Metropolis of Lyon in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in eastern France.

Chassieu has been twinned with Coleshill, England, near Birmingham since 1983.
