Chatham is a town in Jackson Parish, Louisiana, United States.
It is part of the Ruston micropolitan statistical area.
Southwest of Chatham is Caney Lake and the Jimmie Davis State Park.
[3] According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.1 square miles (2.8 km2), of which 1.0 square mile (2.6 km2) is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 km2) (13.91%) is water.
As of the 2020 United States census, there were 491 people, 316 households, and 157 families residing in the town.
