Chemalsky District (Russian: Чема́льский райо́н, Chemal'skiy rayon; Altay: Чамал аймак, Çamal aymak) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the ten in the Altai Republic, Russia.
The area of the district is 3,016 square kilometers (1,164 sq mi).
[4] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Chemal.

[6] Both administrative[1] and municipal[6] districts are divided into the same seven rural settlements, comprising nineteen rural localities.
