The Western Regional Cherry Pit Spit is an annual contest held at Rowley's Red Barn in Utah, US, that has been running since 2007.

Krause also competed in the freestyle competition on the same day where he spat a stone 33.62 metres (110 ft 3.5 in), unofficially beating his own record.
