Chetnole

Chetnole is a village and civil parish in the county of Dorset in southern England.

It is sited on Oxford clay[2] by the small Wriggle River at the western end of the Blackmore Vale.

Chetnole is not mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 and there is no convincing evidence of a settlement at that time.

It was originally opened as a timber structure on 11 September 1933, although this was replaced by the current concrete one in the 1960s.

Great Western Railway operate services between Gloucester and Weymouth via Bristol Temple Meads and Westbury.
