Christopher Paul Resop (born November 4, 1982) is an American former professional baseball right-handed pitcher.

He subsequently allowed an RBI single to Xavier Nady and earned the loss as the Pirates won 4–3.

On July 7, the Braves sold Resop's contract to the Hanshin Tigers of the Japanese Central League.

Resop signed a minor league deal with the Boston Red Sox in January 2014.
